Start with Webcam

Bypass the import process by capturing video within Plask itself.

Instead of importing pre-recorded videos, you can utilize Plask's built-in recording feature, leveraging the webcam of your desktop or laptop computer.

Steps to Record Video in Plask:

1. Switch Modes: Toggle from "Editing" mode to "MoCap" mode.
   • NOTE: Initiating a recording will also auto-switch the platform to "MoCap mode.
2. Select Your Camera: If you have multiple cameras connected, select your desired camera from the dropdown menu located in the upper right corner.
   • NOTE: Plask supports recording from one camera at a time.
3. Start Recording: In "MoCap" mode, click the record button. Brace yourself for a 5-second countdown before recording commences.
4. End Recording: Once you've captured the desired motion, click the record button again to stop the recording.
